Today I had a reminder pop into my head about the launch of Orange’s IPTV service in the UK. It has been around in France for sometime and has been pre-announced during the latter part of 2007 particularly at IBC2007. That last thing I can find is from the IPTV Watch site. Now here we are near the end of October 2008 and where is the service? Is this an example of the worst in project management and delivery or is there a more hidden story behind the failure to not only fail to launch in 2007 as announced, but also look to be not making it in 2008 either?
